Michael is an ambitious and detail-oriented golf course manager with a strong blend of technical, academic, and leadership experience across several respected clubs. Most recently at Disley Golf Club, he managed course maintenance, budgeting, staff development, and member communications, following progressive roles at Dunham Forest, Sale, and Didsbury Golf Clubs.
Holding an MSc in Sustainable Sportsturf Management from Myerscough/UCLan, Michael combines modern environmental awareness with a traditional commitment to turf excellence. A graduate of the Future Turf Managers Initiative, he’s passionate about team culture, mentoring others, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of course presentation.
Fun fact: Michael has had a small stone embedded in his elbow since he was four years old — a 30-year reminder of his adventurous childhood!
