Michelle Hodges Named Employee of the Year
We’re thrilled to announce that Michelle Hodges has been voted Employee of the Year for 2025!
Michelle has been a valued member of the Bernhard and Company family for over eight years. She began her journey with us in the Customer Care team, where she joined as a part administrator. Right from the start, her attention to detail, can-do attitude, and dedication to supporting both colleagues and customers made a significant impact.
In 2020, Michelle was promoted to Logistics Manager, a role in which she has flourished. Her close coordination with our production team ensures that machines are delivered to customers reliably and on time. Michelle’s efficiency, forward-thinking, and deep understanding of the customer journey have made her an indispensable asset to our operations and a well-deserved recipient of this year’s top employee honour. Congratulations, Michelle, and thank you for your continued outstanding contributions!
Tony Sheppard Marks 45 Years of Service
This year also marks an extraordinary milestone for another valued team member, Tony Sheppard, who is celebrating an incredible 45 years of service with Bernhard and Company.
Tony began his career as a young man at Atterton and Ellis, before the company was acquired by Stephen Bernhard. From those early days to the present, Tony has been a steady and knowledgeable force within our supply chain operations. Known across the company for his experience and wisdom, Tony is often the first person teammates turn to when they have a question about our machines. The phrase, “If in doubt, ask Tony,” is a true testament to the depth of trust and respect he has earned over the decades. Tony’s unwavering dedication and encyclopaedic knowledge are integral to our success. His loyalty and service inspire us all, and we are deeply grateful for his decades of hard work and commitment.
